Students in grades 7 and 8 are now required to get a whooping cough shot before starting the 2012-2013 school year.  Call your doctor today.  Be sure all your child’s immunizations are up to date.  If your child is not up to date, he/she will not be able to begin school on time.  Bring a new record to school by July 1, 2012 for his/her file.

Keep immunizing until disease is eliminated. Even if there are only a few cases of disease today, if we take away the protection given by vaccination, more and more people will be infected and will spread disease to others. Soon we will undo the progress we have made over the years.
